If a woman wants to get pregnant, she is interested in when it is more convenient to have sex, if she wants to conceive a child, how many days after intercourse a woman will get pregnant or what is the right position for conceiving a child. The truth is that pregnancy has nothing to do with sexual position and does not affect the ability of the ejaculate to penetrate the egg, and sexual activities should be performed before, during and after fertile days. During menstruation, the chance of pregnancy is very low, this also applies to other days of the menstrual cycle, with the exception of ovulation. The highest chance of conceiving a child is shortly before ovulation, during it and in the post-ovulation period.

Many couples think that they can increase their chances of getting pregnant by making love every day. However, if there is too frequent ejaculation, the sperm do not have time to mature and the chance of fertilizing the egg becomes impossible. The best sperm motility is when ejaculating every 3 to 4 days. This means that it is enough to have sexual intercourse 2-3 times a week. An egg can be fertilized already 12 hours after ovulation, sperm survive in a woman's body for 48 to 72 days, according to some research, it is even up to 7 days. This means that you can have sex even outside the ovulation period if fertilization occurs only during it. The chance of conception increases by 20-30% if you have unprotected intercourse before ovulation (2-3 days) and during it.

In discussions, moms agree that you should monitor your fertile and infertile days and, according to them, the best chance to get pregnant is about 5 days before ovulation and on the day of ovulation. How long it takes for a woman to get pregnant depends on where the egg is located (uterus or fallopian tube) and the speed of the sperm, therefore fertilization can occur several days after intercourse.
